“The nation’s mobility rate fell last year to its lowest level since World War II“. Really? Maybe they just consider civilians. But the author has no reasons for this phenomenon. In desperation he ends up in questions how it could have gone that far. And this is an important question as “greater labor mobility helps the economy”.
Actually I don’t have an idea either. But I have a great proposal. If measures were taken too force the real estate crisis a bit more I think we could hope that more Americans would be encouraged to leave their homes and so show a bit more mobility. Problem solved. What’s next?
